UPDATES and Shake Downs

Another grey San Franciscan summer has bloomed toward the fall.  Between a great flow of new faces in Q Restaurant, visiting family and a trip or two, I've sat and stewed on quite a few drawings that are making their way up and out.  But in the middle of all my dubious scanning, I receive an email from Mr. Urban Quint, my 7th Grade Biology teacher from Rifle Middle School.  Having recently run into my parents, Mr. Quint felt compelled to sent me a photo of a poster I crafted for him in 7th grade, still in his possession:

Greetings!

Like many start-ups in this tricky tricky Obama-conomy, By George Comics thrives thanks to the tireless efforts of its competant and reliable staff.  By some coincidence, or possibly bad Human Resources practice, every staffer here at BGC is a Jennifer.  Or at least, some kind of Jennifer.  I think we have some Jen's and Jenny's, but with some many about it's pretty moot.  Anyway, all illustrated by our good friend Mike Doughty;

27 Jennifers seems to be the best mix of feminine might to keep new comics and jokes on the rise.  So giving credit where credit is due, I introduce to you all 27 Jennifer (and some new guy names Courtney)
